My shifts at the Missourian were every Wednesday and Friday until 9pm. You know what that means? SPORTS! So many kinds of sports, high school and college. Volleyball, basketball, soccer, skateboarding, swimming, football. Oh ya, and Quidditch.

Christopher Bailey, the owner of Parkside Skateshop talks about the half-pipe in the back of the shop. Bailey, a skateboarder himself, opened the shop in March of 2009 because, “they say if you have a passion the money will follow.”

Providence Bowl

These are some non-action shots at the annual Providence Bowl where the two Columbia high school rival football teams play against each other. This was my second shift as a staff photographer at The Missourian.. hopefully I have improved, although I still like the first two. They’re my faves.

This was my first football game where I shot the action. HOWEVER, the action shots are not even worth posting, but I like the reaction shot of one of the Hickman high school players.
